ABOUT THE 2021 conference
Following on from the extremely successful industry-first 3D Virtual Conference we held in 2020, we again repeated this formula in 2021, but with a few additional modifications.
The 2021 EBnet Conference was again held in a completely digital online format, using Gamification Technology to power the event and user experience. We engaged the services of gaming programming specialists to create a fully 3D conference venue for us and the setting this year was a simulation of what it looks like on the inside of a computer!
Conference attendees were able to register online and from there navigate into the 3D digital conference venue itself.
Attendees were able to move around freely inside the venue and interact with the different exhibition stands (including a live-chat function), live speaker sessions, and various pre-recorded speaker sessions by experts in the retirement industry.
In addition, we had a fully online CPD Kiosk with multiple online tutorials and assessments with immediate scoring feedback.

The conference was a huge success with multiple accolades received from attendees and exhibitors alike.
More statistics will be published here after the conference comes to an end.
The overall consensus was that it's a format that is here to stay and we have already commenced with the planning of next year's conference.
